Overall, this would have to be the most pleasant day’s riding of the trip so far. The Bruce Highway certainly was busy and a bit dangerous in places but nice in others. From Exit 237 to Cooroy was very pleasant indeed, and Tewantin is great. I also got a lot of interest in the bike from people who knew what they were talking about. I could live here!
The kick-stand that the bike came with – Pletcher Flex – proved not to be up to the job and finally just snapped off.
